To realize these goals, we prioritize relational trust and open communication with faculty and staff. We aim to cultivate a school culture that encourages collaboration among counselors, teachers, families and administration to promote student success. Building relational trust is key to fostering positive engagement from guardians, caregivers, and the community in the design and implementation of our comprehensive counseling program.
When thoughtfully designed and executed, a comprehensive school counseling program becomes an essential aspect of the school's identity and mission. Recognizing that each student is unique, our program values diversity and demonstrates cultural sensitivity. To ensure students have full access to educational opportunities and a challenging, stimulating curriculum, our counseling program will be intentionally crafted.
As a collaborative team, we will align our program with the developmental stages and social needs of our students. The program will be informed by school data, evaluated by the counseling team, and used to set future goals for student competencies. Positive interactions within the community can create exciting opportunities for students to learn and grow in innovative ways.
